De populaire Israëlische televisieserie “Fauda” biedt hun lokale fans wat ze willen – de releasedatum voor het langverwachte vierde seizoen van de serie in Israël.
Het nieuwe seizoen zal op 13 juli in première gaan op Israël’s Yes TV en zal kort daarna beschikbaar zijn op de streamingdienst Netflix voor een wereldwijd publiek.
“AAN ONZE ISRAELISCHE FANS: Jullie hebben gevraagd, en gevraagd, en gevraagd!” was te lezen in een post op de officiële Twitter-account van de show waarin de releasedatum werd aangekondigd. “Aan onze internationale fans, wees geduldig, het komt hierna naar jullie toe.”
De trailer en castfoto’s voor seizoen vier van het Yes Studios-drama werden eind december vrijgegeven en het filmen eindigde in april in Boedapest, Hongarije na te zijn verplaatst vanuit Oekraïne.
In het nieuwe seizoen van 10 afleveringen gaat de Israëlische undercover eenheid onder leiding van Lior Raz’s personage Doron achter Hezbollah-agenten en Palestijnse militanten aan in Libanon, Brussel, Jenin op de Westelijke Jordaanoever en de Israëlische stad Ramla. Met het komende vierde seizoen zal “Fauda” de langstlopende actieserie van Israël worden.
In het nieuwe seizoen zullen deze de terugkerende castleden zijn: Itzik Cohen (als kapitein Ayub) Rona-Lee Shimon (Nurit) Idan Amedi (Sagi) Doron Ben David (Steve) Yaacov Zada Daniel (Eli) en Meirav Shirom (Dana) te zien zijn. Nieuwe acteurs in de cast zijn Inbar Lavi (“Lucifer”) Mark Ivanir (“Barry”) Amir Boutrous (“The Crown”), Lucy Ayoub en Loai Noufi (“Hashoter Hatov”).

The popular Israeli television series “Fauda” is giving their local fans what they want — the release date for the show’s highly anticipated fourth season in Israel.
The new season will premiere on Israel’s Yes TV on July 13 and will soon after be available on the Netflix streaming service for worldwide audiences.
“TO OUR ISRAELI FANS: You have been asking, and asking, and asking!” read a post on the show’s official Twitter account announcing the release date. “To our international fans, be patient, it’s coming to you next.”
The trailer and cast photos for season four of the Yes Studios drama was released in late December and filming concluded in Budapest, Hungary, in April after being relocated from Ukraine.
In the new 10-episode season, the Israeli undercover unit led by Lior Raz’s character Doron goes after Hezbollah operatives and Palestinian militants in Lebanon, Brussels, Jenin in the West Bank and the Israeli city of Ramla. With the upcoming fourth season, “Fauda” will become Israel’s longest-running action series.
The new season will feature returning cast members Itzik Cohen (as Captain Ayub) Rona-Lee Shimon (Nurit) Idan Amedi (Sagi) Doron Ben David (Steve) Yaacov Zada Daniel (Eli) and Meirav Shirom (Dana).
