– In de Hebreeuwse Bijbel komt het woord “belofte” meer dan 50 keer voor, en het Nieuwe Testament voegt daar nog eens 70+ aan toe. Maar dat is alleen het wóórd belofte. Als je de feitelijke beloften bekijkt, zul je, afhankelijk van de bron, ontdekken dat er bijna 9.000 beloften in het Woord van God staan.
– In the Hebrew Bible, the word “promise” appears over 50 times, and the New Testament adds another 70+ to that. But that’s just the word alone. If you consider the actual promises, depending on the source, you will discover that there are close to 9,000 promises in the Word of God! Some say it’s more like 30,000, if you include ones made to specific people that were fulfilled.
