De broers Hillel en Yigal Yaniv uit Har Bracha zijn vandaag vermoord toen ze door Huwara ten zuiden van hun woongemeenschap reden. Hamas heeft de aanval opgeëist.

De broers Yanive liepen in een hinderlaag in Huwarah, de enige weg naar Har Bracha, Itamar en Elonj Moreh vanuit het zuiden. Binnen enkele minuten waren de Israëlische verdedigingstroepen ter plaatse en zoeken actief naar de daders.

Magen David Adom en United Haztalah reanimeerden, maar moesten de twee Israëlische slachtoffers onderweg dood verklaren.

Op de plaats van de aanval zijn Israëliërs en Arabieren slaags geraakt.

In reactie op de aanslag heeft Bibi Netanyahu zijn steun toegezegd aan het wetsvoorstel inzake de doodstraf voor terroristen van Itamar Ben Gvir.

Ondertussen heeft de premier in het licht van de aanslag een veiligheidstop belegd.

Brothers Hillel and Yigal Yaniv from Har Bracha were murdered today as they drove through Huwara south of their community.Hamas has claimed the attack.

The Yaniv brothers were ambushed in Huwarah, which remains the only way to reach Har Bracha, Itamar, and Elonj Moreh fromt he south. Within minutes Israeli Defense Forces were on scene and are actively conducting searches for the assailants.

Magen David Adom and United Haztalah administered CPR, but were forced to declare the two Israeli victims dead en route.

Clashes have occurred Israeli and Arabs at the scene of the attack.

In respone to the attack, Bibi Netanyahu has thrown his support behind the Death Penalty for terrorist bill pushed by Itamar Ben Gvir.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister has called an emergency security summit in light of the attack.
